By using a high grade carbon, the blank is very slim but has still plenty of power to launch your rig a long way. The tip offer outstanding bite detection so you will see even the smallest takes. The mid and butt section hold an incredible amount of power so you can reach maximum casting distance. Shakespeare SALT XT FS Surf The Shakespeare SALT XT FS Surf is a lightweight 3 piece rod that is built on a high grade carbon blank. With a fast progressive taper action that has been especially designed to be used with fixed spool reels. The sensitive tip offers fantastic bite indication, even at range. The powerful mid and butt allow you to achieve maximum distance and also perfectly control a hard fighting fish. Equipped with special SW proof K-type guides, making sure that the line cannot get entangled around the guides anymore, preventing knots or breakages.
