The HG in the name stands for “High Gear” and with a 5.7 : 1 Gear Ratio cranking a whopping 129cm of line per handle crank your jig or lure will move fast the faster gear ratio (high gear) helps to move your lure to entice big hard fighting fish to munch down on them before they get away. Add to this a whopping 25kg of fish punishing drag and line capacity of 295m of 65lb braid in the 18000 model and there aren’t to many fish in the sea you cant catch.
